BIM AND PANELING

The panels at Signature Theatre were originally designed to be individually set during installation. EMI improved this detail by designing a system that utilized French Cleats with predetermined angles for all of the uniquely placed panels. This significantly decreased the installation time because the cleats enabled a self-correcting logic so the panels could not be installed incorrectly, they simple had to be hung in the correct location. EMI’s BIM model was used to coordinate all other trades that were installed behind our custom panels.
