CUSTOM TABLE EXTENTION

The Turner Conference Table is a prime example of the level of customization possible at Eastern Millwork. The client requested a table that could extend out to almost double its size while maintaining an open floor plan on one side of the room. EMI’s solution was to cantilever the extended portion of the table held down by the tracks of the fastened side. Once fully extended, leg supports drop down to support the cantilevered side and panels are added to the vacant segments producing a fully functional 34 foot-long table. The second requirement of the client was that the electronic wiring was not only hidden underneath the table, but was dynamic and tracked with the table as it extended.
