BIM AND PANELING

At Signature Theater, the wall panels were originally specified for individual field-setting during installation. EMI enhanced the detail by engineering a French cleat system with predetermined angles tailored to each uniquely positioned panel. This refinement substantially reduced installation time by introducing a self-correcting logic: panels could only be hung in their intended locations, eliminating the possibility of misinstallation. EMI’s BIM model further served to coordinate all adjacent trades working behind our custom panel assemblies.
